Hey Hey.. It’s show time in Newey..
It’s Joe here and I’m doing the show report!!!
Friday night we headed off to the 2010 Newcastle Show with Ma, Pa, Ronnie and Aunty Jod…

First stop was the crocodile tent!!.. I didn’t like that so I went with Mum to the Animal shed and seen some baby geese and sheep and some really big cows with huge horns!!! I didn’t like them either!!
Then we headed around the grounds and found the first pluto pup van we could and grabbed some dinner.
While Mum was getting the food Dad and Harry found the scouts park and Harry went for a play..

Harry was really good at it but I didn’t like that either so I sat in the pram with Lily…

Then Mum came with some Hot Chips for dinner.. I didn’t like them much either so just had a drink of lemonade!!… Lily on the other hand was unstoppable and it was kinda scary the way she held onto her chip container

After we all had food in out tummy’s we kept walking and Ma bought us these really cool swords that light up.. I really liked those… We then did the boring stuff like look through the pavilions etc..
We then found the show bags and Mum bought us a smarty one!!.. we are still eating smarties today.. there was so many of them in the bag!!..
FINALLY!! we headed to side show alley… Harry spotted some clowns and he was off to play..

I didn’t like the clowns at first so didn’t want to play but then I found out you got these really cool pressies if you play so thought I would get over myself and have a lash!!

I kept an Eye on the duck just in case he tried to jump me but he was cool..

and then we found some more clowns and by then I was a seasoned pro…

Harry then had a go at a big jumping castle.. I didn’t like that and didn’t want to have a go.. and then Harry got to go on a ride in a helicopter…

I didn’t like that either.. I was happy laying on the ground playing with my lightsaver sword…

The last ride of the night was Dad and Harry on the dodge-ms… Lily by this stage had gone to sleep…

Dad was unreal and Harry never stopped laughing the whole time… If it wasn’t for the height restrictions I would have had a go…

By now it was getting on and I knew that the fireworks would start soon so I was keen as mustard to hit the frog and toad and get out of there.. I don’t like fireworks.. So we were walking out and out of no where this huge “BOOM”… Ma hit the ground and Harry almost projected himself into Ma’s arms… I just ran to mum and hung on for dear life.. There was no way she was putting me down until we got to the car.. Which was about 500 metres away…

So in Summary… There were a few things I didn’t like but that was ok cause I got my lightsaver sword.. Harry had a great time.. he said it was heaps better then last year and when I get bigger I will like it better.. Lily seemed to have a good time.. so I would call it a success…

Hey Everyone, Harry here… well last weekend we did the big road trip to Byron Bay for Uncle Dave and Aunty Mel’s wedding.
As soon as Dad finished work on Thurs arvo we were in the car and hitting the road… First stop was at Port Macquarie roadhouse for some dinner… Nothing beats nuggets and chips and we use any excuse to get some… we then hit the road again and travelled through coffs and into Woolgoolga…Mum had booked us a cabin for the night so we didn’t have too big of a trip the first night..
It was prob 10.30pm before we got there, We were so excited to see our room.. I was really excited cause there were bunks and I baggs the top one…
Joe, Lily and I all played on them while Mum and Dad unpacked etc

Joe had a ball climbing up and down the ladder

and lily just ran from one end of the cabin and back again.. that girl had some serious energy to burn…

The next morning we woke early as we were all really excited to have a look at the place we were staying..

it turned out that we were right on the beach and it was a lovely morning and we were in no rush to go anywhere so we headed down to the beach..
Lily, Joe and I all played in the sand and Lily and I built sand castles

while Joe drew pictures in the sand

after a while Dad took Lily and I in for a swim.. Bub wasn’t keen so he stayed on the sand with mum

We then headed back to our cabin and had a shower, packed up and jumped in the car for a smooth 2 and a bit hours till Byron.
We got there just on lunch time so we all had a well deserved rest and waited till the others arrived.
Later that arvo we headed in to see Uncle Dave and Aunty Mel and we waited on uncle Bob and Aunty lons and the twins to arrive and also Nanny, Poppy, Tyler and Caitlyn.
Soon everyone had arrived and we had some dinner and had a play…
Later we all the little kids jumped in the bath..

Olly reckoned he was now a Big Boy and wanted to have a bath all on his own!!.. he is such a wildcat!!

After our baths we headed home for a big sleep.. It was cool because Uncle Pitko stayed with us…
He got to sleep right up high on the big bunk

Saturday was a day of rest.. Mum was a bit sick so she slept most of the day so we just hung out and played with Tyler, Caitlyn, Olly and Sienna… Although mum was sick she could still be heard saying
“have an easy day.. tomorrow is going to be big”

Sunday (wedding day) rolled around really quick.. Mum was feeling much better so we started the day with an hour on the beach… and Dad threw a few lines in..
I went for another swim.. I love the beach.. Bub built some more sand castles… he loves doing that too.. and Lily just wondered around exploring…

she was really excited when dad caught a fish and wanted to know all about it..

Dad was more then happy to share his experience.. My dad loves fishing!!

We then headed up for a BIG sleep and then get ready for the wedding… Dad left early as he was one of the people that stand up the front.. so Mum got us all ready to go…
She said that Joe and I looked so handsome.. and Lily looked like a little princess

The wedding was nice and before long it was time to hit the dance floor…

We had a great time and Joe and Lily got their groove on as well… we then got to eat this really yummy cake and as the night wore on it did take it’s toll on the young kids…
Lily was the first to flake and Joe wasn’t far behind..

but they just slept in the corner while I continued to have a good time..
Tyler was having an ok time.. I think he was feeling a little sick and tired but I kept him company until the night finished..

Tyler and I are best mates…

We got home just after midnight and it was straight to bed..

The next day we got up early and Mum was a little cranky as Dad was now feeling a little sick, the funny thing was that Dad didn’t get cranky when Mum was sick on Saturday.. But Mum said.. it was a different sick and Dad didn’t get any sympathy… i just went with the flow.. We left at 9am for our long
drive home.. We watched some movies and had a few sleeps, we stopped for lunch at Coffs which was just as well cause Bubba was nattering on in an uncontrolled state chanting “abc.net.au/giggle and hoot.. over and over again… who chats web sites ???.. i put it down to the fact that he was tired and hungry…
We got home about 6.30pm and all jokes aside we all had a great trip… Joe, Lily and I all said we would be extra good cause it had been a big weekend for everyone..
and the best thing was that Ma had cooked pasta for us for dinner!!..

Hey Everyone Lily here…
Well March has been busy but not busy enough to keep my fingers off the keyboard…
March is going to be all about me and what I have been up too..
Firstly.. I have become Mum’s worst nightmare and have developed a love of shoes…
I just LOVE THEM !!.. I want to wear them all the time.. on my feet and on my hands.. and I like
all kinds of shoes… Mum keeps telling me she hates shoes but I just can’t see how.. there are just so many shoes a girl just can’t keep up..

But beside Mum and my differences.. I still found some time to have some great cuddles with her…

and have I mentioned I give the best sloppy kisses getting around!! they always make Mum giggle…

I also figured March would be a great month to get my personality out and give the boys a run for their money… I am now the newest wildchild in Waratah West.

But I can still pull off a killer pose at the drop of a hat !!

I have also got the boys wrapped around my every word and all I have to do is call out and they help me get to stuff… like.. climb onto the lounge!

and once we all get up there Mum uses it as a great excuse to take yet another photo of the 3 of us…

One day she is going to get us all looking at her, smiling, with thumbs out of mouths!!! LOL but alas.. not this day!!

The weather has also been great so we have been getting outside a bit.. This day in particular we spent ages out the back and we all had heaps of fun… we slept for ages after!!

Then the boys started chasing each other around like crazy things!!

Joe really seems to throw his leg when he runs and it was funny when Joe tripped Harry.. Joe was very excited that he won that race!!

Then we all got on the slide… I love the slide.. I can crawl all the way up it by myself now.. and I like to take charge and tell the boys who goes when!!

towards the end the boys settled down again and Harry made me laugh by playing peek a boo with me..

and Joe sat down with Izzy and had a play with her.. She is the best dog!!

Mum also re arranged my room… She got rid of all the “baby stuff” and took it over to Aunty Jodie for her new baby.. and I know have a Little Girls room.. It still needs some finishing touches but it’s getting there..

Jen, Holly, Harly and Codey bought me the Butterfly’s for my walls.. they look so cool!! I just love laying in my cot looking at them..

Joe also started Pre School this month as well.. He is going each Friday and he really loves it..
Mum and Harry helped him decorate his sleep bag.

and He looked so handsome heading off for his first day

he has this really cool Elmo backpack!!! Aunty Mul would love it!!

Joe also decided that he wanted to paint his toenails as well.. was so funny.. he sat and watched Mum paint hers the other day.. then he disappeared for a while and when he emerged he had found himself a green texta and painted his!!!

I think he did a good job of it.. I might see if he wants to do mine later!!.
Anyway.. that it from me.. till next month!!!

Hey Everyone, Joey Kearsey here!!!….
February was pretty quiet and let me tell you we all needed it…The whole family was off the rails for a few weeks but by the end of the month we were all back to normal.. well as normal as we can be…

The Month started pretty much how Jan ended with Lily Climbing anything and everything she could find..

Lucky I was around to make sure she didn’t fall as there seems to be a lack of parental supervision in this place at times..

Dad managed to get out for a fish and the prawn run.. and although I must say he bought home the goods..
a nice clean kilo of fresh prawns..

Lily found them quite interesting but I can tell you she was no where to be found when we had to shell them..

and some nice fillets as well.. Dad cooked them up in his special cornflake crumb and they were delicious..

Mum and Dad also started the massive task of painting the outside of our place.. Mum reckons it’s needed doing for 5 years but Dad’s only got on board in the last 12mths or so..

However I must say.. us kids have been a big help.. Lily has got into the paint a couple of times and I quite enjoy having a little play in it myself…

But as they say.. all work and no play!!!.. so we took some time out and headed to a picnic in the park

The 24th rolled around and it was party time again.. This time is was Ma’s birthday.. So we cooked her a cake and headed around to her place for the day… Mum tried to get us together for a Photo again but none of us were really that keen to sit still.. this is the best she could come up with

but she wasn’t really happy with that so we go the paints out and did hand and foot prints on a canvas board and gave that to Ma for her birthday…

She loved it…
That night we all went out to dinner.. dinner was yummy and Aunty Jod got this awesome cake to eat…
we helped Ma blow out her candles…

The month ended with me redecorating the house!!!.. You see at Ma’s place she lets me tip powder on the floor and draw pictures in it… So I was a little board on a sunday arvo so thought.. what the heck.. I know where the powder is and I am damm good at it so might give it a whack…
So grabbed the powder from the kitchen bench.. a little spilled as the top was open..
I then thought to myself… “I need a nice quiet place to do this as I don’t want Lily getting it all over herself”… so I thought the play room would be good for that… I walked through the lounge room.. and realised I was carrying the bottle upside down.. again.. a little spilled.. nothing major… all in the name of art I say..

I then got into zone and went to work on my masterpiece.. I was going to be bigger and better then anything I had ever done before… I was doing full throttle when Dad walked in the back door and yelled at me…

He obviously doesn’t appreciate art… apparently I did something I wasn’t suppose to and Dad was a little cranky!!!.. eat to their own…
I then got upset because mum told me she had to clean the “whole thing up”..

I was hoping they would like it and it could stay that way…
Well the positive out of it is that I did learn a really good lesson..
“you can’t win them all, and if at first you don’t succeed.. try again”.. so It’s back to the drawing board for me..

Hey Everyone, Lily and Harry here…
Wok Harry… I’m first… well we seen the New Year in at Inverell as the twins were christened the next day.. Mum and Dad are Olly’s godparents and Mum too the opportunity to get the “whole family” photo that we never seem to get…

Once we got back to Newcastle we were all very tired after a huge 10 days in Inverell so we just kicked back for a week or so to recover… Harry thought it was time for me to learn how to protect myself… I do have 2 big brothers and I need to be able to hold my own…
so first he showed me how it’s done..

Then in a quick move that even Harry didn’t even see coming I flipped him and once again I was in control..

I got the boys covered no problem at all..

It was also a very exciting month for me and for Mum as well because my Hair finally got long enough to put into a pony tail…

and even more adventurous.. Mum got Pig tails as well..

It was also a big month for Gross motor skills as I learnt how to climb..

and play the piano and sing…

Ok Lily shift aside Time for me to get in…
Hey Harry here.. well santa did well this year and Bubba and I got Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtle movies so TURTLE MANIA hit our house…
First Dad made some cool costumes – he ripped the material with his very own hands and teeth… Man v’s wild style…

Then Mum modified the design with the simple “pillow as the shell” technique

Then towards the end of the month Ma bought us proper Turtle outfits and it was unreal!!!

That brings us around to Birthday time of the month.. Back to you Lily…
Thanks Harry… Well My Birthday is first and the most important because I was 1…
The day started with Pressies from Harry, Joe, Mum and Dad…

We had a little party at home and I got some really cool pressies.. I got some shakers and some cool dunlop volley’s

Mum made a nice choccie mum cake

and I ate it all…

Over to you Harry to talk about your Birthday..
Thanks Lily.. well my Birthday is 2 days’ after Lily’s but I got one of my pressies the week before..
Aunty Jod and Uncle Matt got me tickets to Oakdale farm..

So up we headed for the day… it was really cool.. we got to see all these big and baby animals and we got to feed them

Lily liked patting them.. but I think the baby goats thought they were going to eat her!!! because they were eating everything!!!

Bubba didn’t like it as much.. they scared him, they were quite aggressive the little things… especially when there was milk on offer…

so to settle down we had some lunch..

After Lunch I had a ride on the train with Aunty Jod… Bubba didn’t want to go on the train but he loved waving to me as we went around

On my actual Birthday the day started with Presents from Joe, Lily and Mum and dad

Then I went outside and had a play on the superslider.. I went really fast because Dad put detergent on the plastic and gave me a big push..

and then I had a party in the park.. I had a great time with all my mates.. we played cricket and played on the swings and on the climbing thing

and we played hide and seek

and Mum made the best green turtle cake… and it was yummy…

after all this stuff in January we needed a couple of weeks to re coup… it had been a really busy couple of months…

Hey Everyone, Bubba here… well December starts with the same thing every year.. Putting the xmas tree up…

This year mum thought that would also be a great chance to wrap us all up for a group photo…

as we all got excited about Santa coming soon we failed to see that the baby dolly started to get into things.. like cupboards..
and Ma found some of Mummy’s baby clothes from when she was little and Mum put them on lily…

I started to get some really weird Sleep patterns… I use to the first one to sleep every night but it occured to me that I might be misisng out on things.. so i started just hanging out in my room for ages.. dressing up..

having a drink…

and eventually i just got that tired i would go to sleep..

December was Dad’s birthday and Mum cooked up his favourite…
A ROAST

and a couple of days later.. Lily started taking steps and Harry and I knew that our time for space was quickly running out…

Harry, Mum and I also had a visit to the dentist, Harry jumped right up into the chair..

i was a little more reserved but got the job done none the less…
The weekend before xmas we had the Brooks Xmas at Ma and Pa’s Place..
there were so many pressies under the tree and we got busy opening them all..


Ma cooked up a massive baked dinner and Harry and her got busy popping the bon bons..

after all the excitement of they day Harry and I sat down to a nice cuppa hot choccie before bed…

The week later we headed to Inverell for Xmas at Nanny and Poppy’s place..
We got there xmas eve just in time for santa to come..

and Xmas day was great with again lots of pressies to open..

We spent the week in inverell and headed out to green valley farm for a day…

and other then then fine day it rained the rest of the time which meant it we had to bust open the winter pj’s can you believe it..

it was bloody cold i tell you..
New years eve Harry, lily and I hung out with Olly and Sienna.. and seen the new year in in fine form..
sound asleep… Good times…

Hey everyone Harry here..
Finally I get a chance to tell my story..
Well November was HUGE Summer was upon us and the only thing to do was to hit the pool!!!
So in Lily went.. She loved it..
Bubba on the other hand was a little more reserved preferring to tip water on himself instead

Bub told mum that he fancied himself a bit of a model and asked if she could take some head shots of him.. this is the best he could come up with

November was also a big month for Bubba cause the Nappy fairy came and took all this nappies away..
and left some cool stickers and the funkiest roary the racing car undies your could ever want…
So it was officially Bubba was a “big boy” and such wore “Big Boy” pants… and like me got to use the toilet…
The good news is that this was the one and only time he actually sat on the toilet with a smile on his face and after 3 weeks of 10 changes of clothes a day the nappy fairy wrote Bubba a letter and told him that “it wasn’t him, it was her” and it was time to get back into nappies.. as things were “just not working out”

Lily also had a big month and cracked her first 2 teeth..

as the days warmed up we headed to the beach…
was a great morning out and about 10am got too much for lily so she had a little rest while the rest of us kept playing

November is also a great month for Mum as it’s her Birthday.. Ma helped Bubba and I cook a cake for her

and we helped her blow out her candles


and we also helped her eat all her cake as well

Now lets get back to me… November was also a massive month for me…
I made my bed by myself for the first time…

and mum made a really cool dinner

and i ate all of mine…

Daddy was very happy with me for eating all my dinner!!

Dad also told us that we needed to learn how to box.. so he got Joe and I out the back and threw some gloves on…



Lily took things a little too serious and ended up hiding under the fish tank!!!

cause no one would find her there!!!

Dad also ended the month with his yearly entry into Mowvember… He started with this ridiculous beard that then became a ridiculous goatie

Which then progressed to an even more ridiculous moustache thing..

Lucky he only does it once a year!!!!

Hey It’s Lily here again…
October started with a BANG and Harry’s School dance… The theme was your favourite toy etc.. Harry went as Buzz lightyear, Joe went as Woody and I went as a cute little butterfly angel…
Harry took a while to warm up but once he did he was unstoppable on the dance floor.. Joe on the other hand was unstoppable at the food table!!!.. consuming anything in site!!.. was quite embarrassing actually and at times i pretended I didn’t know who he was!!!

Harry also tried out this new sleeping style!!!. was the funniest… he was so tired he went to sleep like this!!! ha too tired to even lay down…

Big month for me as I started to Crawl.. The world was now at my feet and my family at my beg and call.. the fun had begun..

We were also back into swimming lessons as well… We go every Monday and I swim first with Mum.. then Harry and Joe swim… we are going pretty good… Joe is by far the best looking guy at the pool…
While Harry leaves them all for dead in the water…

October was also the month to try and snag the infamous “kids group” photo… You have to give it to mum.. she really puts in a good effort and did snag a couple of beauties!!!

It’s been really hard to get a photo of Harry as he is always being really silly .. like sticking he tongue out or pulling my ears or something.. he really needs to just grow up.. seriously..
so mum had another crack one night after we had all had a bath and Ma and Pa were around and we were all massively hyped up.. but once again.. Harry had to be the joker.. check him out

While Joe and I just nailed the photos..

Harry was still struggling…

But finally after the photo shoot budget had completely blown out and we were getting on in the night he finally got it.. and yes there was only the one photo…

Hey Everyone Joe here with Septembers update…
September kicked off with Fathers Day and this year we went all out and got dad and outside fire..

Which is really cool cause now we can light a fire and cook marshmallows, After the fire we decided we should have a funny hats night…

Early in the month dad took Harry and I out for a fish.. I loved it but Harry was the gun.. hooked one all on his own.. I was off busy playing in the sand!!

September also happens to be the best month of the year cause it’s my BIRTHDAY !!!
yep I turned 2 and of course I got lots of pressies… and I got some really cool dress up stuff
We had a BIG party with all my friends and Mum cooked me a really cool train cake

and I had heaps of fun

The one thing I did notice this month was Lily’s power to control.. Now this seems to be a gradual thing but she is really starting to put her stamp on things and has Harry and I both wrapped around her little finger.. Harry feeds her bottles while I give her feet a rub!!!

But she is still the cutest little dolly!!!
