G’day Harry here,

Well another quiet week on the home front… After a couple of really full on weeks it’s been nice to just chill out at home with mum… Although to keep things interesting and mum on her toes I’ve decided to mix things up a bit with my sleep patterns…. Mum thought she had it made, thinking she could get me into a routine… I let her think it for a while and then I thought… “Nah!!! I’m the main chicken in this hen house!… So have been mixing it up a bit during the day… Shorter sleeps and more play time… I figure I’ll be nice to here for a while and keep the nights pretty steady… I still put in about a 7 hrs stretch each night and I gave mum bit of t treat the other night… I slept for 8 ½ hrs…. She was so full of praise the next day!!!!

Well I had Saturday morning with dad last week… Ma gave mum a gift voucher for a massage and a facial so mum went and had some quality quiet time… while I hung out with dad… It was heaps of fun… we watched Rex Hunt and previewed the weekends footy… dad has taught me how to read the Foxtel guide so I can find out when all the good shows are on… I thought mum would be all smiles when she got home… after all who wouldn’t be after an hour of bliss… well I can tell you my mum is a rare one,s he came home in a worse mood then when she left.. Talk about shitty… she reckons that she had milk everywhere during the facial and then the lady kept sniffing and talking to her while she was trying to relax…. So drastic times calls for drastic measures and seen as though dad wasn’t doing anything to help the situation I took it upon myself to sort things out… I told her straight… “Wake up to yourself and be glad you got some time alone… and think about me for a second… I have to spend the rest of the day with you so snap out of it”… then I smiled and she smiled and we were all happy families again… Harry to rescue!!!

On Sunday Mum and Dad and I all went to the farmers markets… We have never been before but we will sure go again… It’s were the local farmers etc go to sell all their farm fresh vegies and fruit… We got some solid bargains and we even managed to get me a good hat as well… Like all markets dad always grins and bares it until he gets there and comes home with more stuff then mum… He got some real good yellow box honey and these really cool lures….

Back to work Monday was good with another session at Gymbaroo… I am getting really good at it now and love it more everyweek… We also had a plumber dude come to the house, apparently we have some poo problems and all I know is that the grass is growing better then ever!!!.. It was average news… The whole sewage pipes need to be replaced… All I know is that it’s got nothin’ to do with me! I don’t use the toilet!

Tuesday I slept in, so I didn’t get to see dad before he went to work… I usually give him a few smiles every morning to see him though the day… so when mum wasn’t looking to set the camera up and took some smiling photos then jumped on the computer and emailed them to dad… I love my dad and I wanted to make sure he started the day good… What do you think of these pics… pretty good for selfies hey!!!

On Wednesday arvo Dad bought home this cool chicken toy… I think mum got a bit jealous because she didn’t bring anything for her… but he was quick to point out that the chicken toy was from Jamie-Lee. Jamie- Lee is this really spunky cool chic that dad works with, she has this boyfriend called Steve’o but I reckon she wants me!!!… She always tells me now cute I am also quick to jump in for a cuddle with a gorgeous babe; I tell you if I was 20 years older she would be in a lot of trouble right about now!!!!… I don’t know if her boyfriend knows about her flirting with me but I send some photos of me with the Chicken to her email so she can look at me all day…..

Mum and I have been practicing my giggling… I almost have it… not quite but almost… I do this little..”oooo… ahhhh… oooo….ahhhh” thing but with a little more practice I’ll have it no worries… I also have the whole tummy time, hold your head up thing down pat now….and just when I thought mum couldn’t take any more photo’s the damm camera was in my face again… She has been a bit slack lately and hasn’t taken many photos’… I was thinking the fad had worn off but she was just bored at taking pic’s of me lying on my back…(that was fine by me as all it does is show my double chin).. But now I have the “hold the head up” thing going on its Snap snap snap again… As you can see… a few pics are ok but really sometimes I just can’t take it.

Oh well another week down and another week closer to be able to drive! Nan and Pop are coming down tomorrow and I’m very excited about that… I haven’t seen them since I was born and that’s way too long… Mum has a busy day today as she is trying to organise my christening… so will keep you posted about that… Till next time champs… love ya all…….

G’day Harry here again….

Well another week passes and yet again I have been a very busy boy… I am now smiling on cue and I just love showing off my great gums.

Last week Uncle Brett arrived back from the US… He’s been over there working for 3mths and it was the first time that I got to meet him. He stayed for a week and we had such a good time. He helped mum make a DVD of all the video’s and Pictures she has taken of me. He put music behind it and everything and I am currently in negotiations with Warner Bros and this cool guy named Steven Spielberg to make a feature length film from it.

He also spent heaps of time teaching me to poke my tongue out and laugh… I almost have it a little more practice and I will have it… Uncle Brett helped mum heaps while he was here… he helped bath me, put me to sleep, play with me, and I even jumped into bed with him one morning..

Last week I went to my first Gymbaroo class. We are booked in to go every Monday. I got to meet these other people that are little just like me. It nice to get some reassurance that you are normal every once in a while. At Gymbaroo we do exercises, sing (well the big people sing and all the little kids just smile and laugh at them), dance (mum holds me and I get to dance with all the other kids, there is this one little girl in particular that I have taken a real shine to, I made sure we sat next to her), play on the equipment. Learn to roll, and heaps of other stuff.

My first class was really exhausting and I ended up falling asleep with about 15 mins to go… but the Monday that has just passed I lasted the whole class and even got to chat to the father of the little girl that I like ( I sat next to her again).

I also had my 2 month visit with the baby clinic… Doing well as usual. I am now 59.5cm long and weigh 6.4 kilos (currently off the charts and they are making up a special chart for me and my friend Jake who is 5 ½ months old and he is 9.5kilos).

The lady did tell Mum that I was starting to get a bit of a flat head on one side. I really like to sleep on one side of me head but now mum has got this damm head wedge that she puts there so I have to use the other side for a while. I know she is doing it for my own good and she has my best interests at heart and she did make a very good point when she said that the no one would want to pick up a dude with a flat head !!!!.. and we can’t have that… I got a rep to protect.

Last Thursday Ma, Pa and Granny came to visit… as you can see I had to do some major grooming before they arrived ha ha!!

I also learnt this cool new thing to show them… I can now hold my head up really well and now can spend more time on my belly; again this will help my flat head!!!

I had a great time and there was never a shortage of people wanting a “Harry Fix”, I took them all shopping on Friday at Jesmond and of course I just flashed some smiles and I got some good stuff… got all these guys worked out now… I have them twisted around my little finger… we also went out for dinner to the Chinese down at my Local, Dad, Pa and Granny all went down for a beer before hand and Mum, Ma, Uncle Brett and I all went down a little after.. We were hoping Granny was going to pull a jackpot on the pokies and shout dinner. When she came back from the pokie room I looked at her and she said “ don’t’ talk to me about it” so I just smiled at her and thought I should just leave that alone as it didn’t look like it was her night on the pokies…

On Saturday night it was “photo night” I thought I was a celebrity on the red carpet at the Oscars I had that many flashes going off around me that I started to see stars… I first posed with Uncle Brett, then Ma and Pa, Then Granny and then I asked if we could get a family shot of me, Mum and Dad… I have been trying to organise one for about 7 weeks now and they just keep putting it off… anyway I had them both cornered but as you can see.. they just couldn’t sit and smile, no no no, they had to ruin a good shot didn’t they… they thought it was hilarious, I say “it’s all fun and games until someone sticks your toe up their nose!!”

On Sunday dad went fishing again, and again I wanted to go with him but mum wouldn’t let me, she said he was taking out the boat and they don’t make life jackets to fit me… Now I find this really hard to believe and if they don’t then there is defiantly a market there… anyway I hung at home with her but when dad got home I raced out to see what he had caught… he got a brim, a whiting and a blue swimmer crab.. I was so proud of him and can’t wait to find a life jacket so I can go too…

On Tuesday me and mum went and had morning tea with the other mum’s and bubs from her and dad’s antenatal group… I got to meet everyone for the first time and again got to hang out with some kids my own age… I love mum and dad but sometimes they just do my head in and I crave some normality… They are called the yummy mummies and after spending almost 3 hours with them all I can see why… We are going to hang out with them once a fortnight and next time they are all coming to my place…

Yesterday Dad’s cousin Teresa and His Aunty Susie came to visit so dad said “Let’s go to lunch” so me and Mum went in to meet everyone and to have lunch with dad… I am so lucky because I got to see my dad at lunch time today and I only usually get to do that on dad stay at home days.. I love my dad

Today I got my first immunisations… I was a bit worries they were going to jab me in the bum but I’m a big brave boy though and they don’t scare me at all… I let our a squark for about 20seconds then mum gave me a big cuddle and I was fine…. Mum kept telling me the doctor was going to be really nice and at first she was sweet talking me, telling me how cute I am and how big I am and I was smiling at her and having a great time and then WHAM !!!.. out of no where she jammed this thing in my leg!!.. next time I’ll be ready for her. Anyway it’s been a HUGE week for me and frankly I’m exhausted so am going to get in some serious slumber and get some tucker into me.. I overhead the Dr telling mum to give me extra fluids for the next 24 hrs so I’m not about to back away from that… See you soon

All in all this has probably been one of my quieter weeks… just been hangin’ out at home with mum…

The weekend before last Aunty Jodie and Uncle Matt came to visit… It was a fun weekend and they both couldn’t believe how much I had changed and grown..

Aunty Jodie had a go at changing my nappy and must have had a bit of a wardrobe malfunction with it as when I did a wee it went all over dad !!!.. nice one Aunty Jodie

I decided that this week I would throw a few smiles out there and see if mum noticed anything… She did.. I made her so happy so now everytime she looks at me I flash her my gums !!!!… and give her a BIG SMILE !!!!

Wednesday night seen me have my first “dad and me” night at home. Mum’s back playing netty and she had her grading night.. She left me some food and headed out for a few hours which left me hangin’ with dad!!.. What a cool night. We watched sale of the century and Rex hunt Fishing adventures,,, had a bath and some dinner… I can’t wait till she goes to netty again !!!

Well this weekend seen the start of the Footy season.. Apparently my team is the dragon!!!.. Dad told me they were the best and so far no one else has told me any different so I guess dad is right…

Dad and I sat and watched the game on Friday night… it was heaps of fun.. we were yelling and screaming when the guys did good things and dad said these other funny words when they made a mistake !!!.. I don’t think I ever want to make dad mad !!!!

Today we went for a big drive to pick up Uncle Brett.. It’s the first time I have met him and I spent all morning getting ready.. I really wanted to look my best !!!..I slept all the way in the car so I could conserve my energy then dad and I sat in the back on the way home and had another sleep.. Mum and Uncle Brett were talking in the front and I thought I would give them some time to catch up as from the second we got home. Uncle Brett was all mine !!!!
He is a cool dude and he is staying with us for a week or so!!!.. already he has given me a bath and played with me.. I like him a lot.. He hasn’t changed a nappy yet.. not sure what he is waiting for or what he is scared of.. I’m only a little kid !!!

I also had my first swim today.. It was really hot this arvo and mum and dad’s friends have a heated pool that was like 30 degrees so mum took me swimming.. I loved it.. You would think that with my big thorpy hands and feet I would be carving up but I just decided to hang on to mum this time… can’t wait for next summer to hit the surf with dad !!!..

Got a BIG WEEK this week… Tomorrow mum and me are going to Gymbaroo.. which is Baby gym… gotta get the coordination going so I don’t end up dancing like mum !! ha ha
Tuesday is “boys night in” as mum has netty.. that’s going to be unreal.. I will have dad and uncle Brett all to myself..
Wednesday is my 2 mth check up at the clinic.. time to tip the scales again !!!
And Thursday Ma, Pa and Great Granny are coming to visit.. so should have heaps of stories to share next week…

Howdy Harry here,
Well it’s time for the week in review… well last week was pretty quiet compared to the previous weeks.. Mum and I just hung out at home… took the odd outing to the shops and for lunch with mum’s friends but all in all a pretty quiet and relaxing week… now in saying that it can be quite easy to get bored so I took it upon myself ot do a little exploring around the house…it was so much fun!!! I found dad’s work clothes and hoped that if I put his tie on he would take me to work with him.. I miss dad when he’s at work…

I also founds dad’s stash of hats… man he has heaps of them… can only wear one at a time god knows why he needs them all… I like this one.. it looks great on me…

I can’t wait to get into the rest of the cupboards…

Last weekend dad decided he would put up the flag pole that he bought just after I was born…. I really wanted to help and made myself available to help with the wheelbarrow….

But dad reckons I was too little and I got really upset when he told me

Dad got his friend Ben to help him put it in, It come up really good and I am very proud of dad..

Now we all know that footy season is around the corner and dad can’t wait for it.. he is in search of a new “greatest player” ever as he doesn’t like lance anymore.. PA reckons he should have a look at mino…. Anyway there is a guy that dad works with and his mum knitted me this cool dragons cardigan and this really cool little doll… dad couldn’t wait to get me in it… It will be unreal to wear to the footy games this year!! It’s going to be heaps of fun… He’s own little dragon.. maybe I’ll be his new favourite

Mum finally got all my thankyou’s sent out this week and in the process took about another 200 photos of me.. Now when a man is this good looking you have to allocate a certain amount of time for all your fan’s.. taking pictures etc.. but I have to tell you I really have had enough…every time I rolled over mum had that camera in my face… so I did the only thing that would make her stop…. I put my foot down.. someone has to take control

Other then that it’s a pretty normal week… Aunty Jodie and Uncle Matt are coming tomorrow so that should be fun… and I’m starting to get very hungry so might get off here.. make some noise.. get mum’s attention.. and have a feed… till next time
