Mum and I are celebrating today as we have both managed to last 1mth…. yeah 1 mth old today!!!… what an achievement…
reflecting back over the month that has been i do feel i have achieved quite alot…
I have managed to get these parents of mine organised and i have to say they are doing a pretty good job!!!…
I have grown 6cm and have put on almost 2kg’s…..
Mum and are had a little party this morning to celebrate…. She had some nice cold water to drink and i got a special treat!!!. milk !!!! yum yum !!!
We had balloons and streamers and i was having a ball !!!.. can’t wait till i turn 1y/o.. can you imagine the shin dig!!!

Anyway it’s been a big morning so am going to have a nap while mum cleans up the house!!!. it’s a mess after the big party…

Well thought a mid week update was just what the Dr ordered…
It’s been 4 days since my last post and once again.. BUSY BUSY BUSY!!..
Many would argue that a newborns’ life is anything but Busy… all I can say those you people is “come walk a day in my shoes” or should I say “ come spend a day in my nappy”

Well Dad did eventually arrive home with Uncle Bob and Aunty Lonz…I was so excited to see them and I think they were pretty chuffed with me as well….
They had a late night the night before and were a little tired or maybe it was jet lag from the flight but I thought the best way I could help uncle bob was to lay down and have a rest with him.

Aunty lonz on the other hand wanted to play.. so I spent some time gurgling at her…

Sat night we all went to a housewarming party…. I was having a ball until mum made me go to sleep… (She is such a party pooper)…

Sunday was a “low vibe” day for me.. I just wanted to be near mum all day…. I had a little boy procedure done on Friday and up until now it didn’t really bother me but today I just felt like crap!!!.. I was also a little depressed as I got all these pimples / rash thing on my face.. I thought I was going through puberty and was waiting for my voice to drop but it turns out it’s all the damm chocolate that mum has been sneaking behind dad’s back….Plus the heat hasn’t helped things either… Thank god I don’t have any dates in the next couple of days… how’s a man suppose to pick up chicks with pimples all over his face!!! What a day.. A real emotional rollercoaster… So I chucked a wobbly and wanted to lie on mum’s chest and just eat all day!!!…

Uncle Bob & Aunty Lonz left on Monday morning and I didn’t want them to go!!!… I made sure they knew how I felt!! “Don’t go” I said.. “Please stay”.. I yelled..
They said they would see me at Easter for Poppy’s birthday. I figured this was reasonable and settled down…

Monday night dad played Oz Tag and mum had to bath me… She likes to think I am some kind of a toy or something and thinks I like it when she dresses me up in bubbles…now I ask you.. Does this look like the face of someone who is having fun !!!! Until now no one would believe that she was doing this to me but thank god dad arrived home in time to get some proof !!!

Tuesday I had a visit to the baby clinic to check on my progress ( I think It’s to check to see how mum is doing, gotta make sure she’s not turning into a Looney on me).
Well just ask me how good I am !!!!!!.. Yep I’m now 5.5kg’s which makes me heavier then 97% of other bandits my same age… I am now 57cm long again excelled being 90% longer then others and my head is 38cm round… all I can say is… we now know who has all the brains in the family…… I might be the smallest at the moment but give me a few years and I’ll be the king of the world !!!!!!

Today mum and me are hangin out at home.. I was kicking back in my vibrating bouncer when mum put on a CD that Dad borrowed from the library yesterday.

It was called “an evening with John Denver”… Mum and I were singing along to it for ages..…My favourite songs were.. ”Thank god I’m a country boy” and “Take me home, country roads”….

Mum also got the video camera out this morning… Time for me to really start putting on a show !!!.. Ok champs once again time for me to get off here as I’m a little hungry.. I’ve gotta see what I can about getting a feed around here!!!. Ahh it’s a tough life…

Hey it’s Harry here,
Boy have I been busy!!!… I have had the relo’s visiting and it’s been very very busy.. They all want cuddles and all want to play with me… I feel like butter… gotta spread myself around….

Well Ma arrived down the day dad went back to work… Mum didn’t say so but I reckon she needed some help for a few days and she called on Ma… Ma and me had great fun together and we sat up and talked for hours and hours… she also got up with me every morning at 5.30am… mum and dad always wanna sleep but ma loves to play at that time!!! Wait till she’s gone and mum and dad have to get up with me again. .Ha Ha!

Well Aunty Jodie and Uncle Matt came to visit on Friday night. I think I remember aunty Jodie from the night I was born… but it was the first time I met Matt!!! He had really big hands and kept playing with my head… he could fit my whole head in his hands and he loved playing with it… It was lovely!!… Aunty Jodie loved cuddles so I spent some time on her shoulder nuzzling in… I think she likes me a lot…

The next day Uncle Dave, Aunty Chris and my cousins Tyler and Caitlyn arrived from Inverell…. They are great fun and I can’t wait till I’m big enough to play with Tyler… reckon he and I will have fun kicking the footy around… Caitlyn Is great too… She helped mum bath me and like all the girls. Loved cuddles….

Now with all the commotion happening in the house a man can only take so much so I did try and sneak away a couple of times for a nap or a nice quiet bath but a gotta tell you. Everywhere I went… whatever I did… every move I made there was a camera or people in my face… looking at me… poking me!!!… Oh well!! Can’t help it if I’m good looking… you gotta do what you gotta do… I took it all in my stride and quietly loved every minute of it..

By the Monday most of the relo’s had gone home… Ma was still down for a few more days… Once I got myself organised after the weekend I though it would be a good time to open my first money box… Ma & Pa gave it to me… When mum fell pregnant they started putting 50c pieces into a money box for me… the problem was that the coins were too big to come out the hole so I had to take matters into my own hands and use force…. I got the hammer out of dad’s shed and decided if I wanted this money I would have to be destructive… The hammer was a little heavy but dad helped me! I love my dad!!

Now that i had money i wanted to hit the shops so mum took me to the bank!… yeah i was confused as well… She made me open a bank account and put it in the bank… how boring… I also went shopping with mum and ma, went to dinner on wednesday night with mum and her netty friends…. I also went in and had lunch with dad and got to meet all the people he works with…. As I said before it’s been a busy, busy week for me!!!…

I have also been getting so many pressies… Mum hasn’t sent thankyou’s to everyone yet… (And she reckons she an organised person)… so I want to say thankyou, thankyou, thankyou… for all the clothes, toys, stuffed animals, books etc.. I love them all… I must though I am starting to get quite a collection of fantastic clothing and I was running out of space to put it so I sent mum out to get me some more shelves for my room… after all I need to have everything where I can get it.. I need toys on one shelf… spew towels on the other… clothes neatly folded so a man can see what he has. If mum isn’t going to get herself together and organise me then I’m going to have to take control…. I’ll get these parents organised sooner or later.

The last couple of days have been great… Ma caught me in bed with Mum and Dad the other morning… I like getting in bed with them… They keep trying to kick me out into the cot… but they should know better… I am slowly getting in there more and more… won’t be long and I’ll pull an all nighter…

I have also had a couple of firsts in the last couple of weeks… I did my first smile (so Ma reckons) and I also had my first go at a dummy… bloody horrible things they are… I spat it out… if mum thinks there is any substitute for the genuine boob she has got to be kidding herself.. I demand quality and won’t take anything less…

WOW!!! What a week… It’s no wonder I am sleeping better… a man gets tired just reading this… better get going now as I am waiting on Uncle Bob and Aunty Lonz to arrive.. Dad went to get them off the plane 2 hrs ago and hasn’t come back yet.. I think he has taken them to the surf on the way home!!!…. It’s going to be another big weekend for me… so had better get off and get my cuddles ready… BYE

Hi all,
Harry here again… well tomorrow I am 2 weeks old and so much has been happening.. I have been keeping mum and dad very busy and very tired.. which is all in a days work for me!!!

They keep telling me how beautiful I am and also what a good boy I have been…. It has been very hot in Newcastle so we have been spending most of the days at home however last Friday we did go on a little excursion to Glendale shopping centre.. Dad took mum and I to lunch at lonestar… I figured they needed a little quiet time so I went to sleep for about 2 hours to give them a chance to have a nice lunch…. Dad doesn’t take mum out much so it was kinda special….

A typical day for me is waking about 6-7ish in the morning and dad takes me and we watch animal shows together…. Check out the pic of us below.. I love watching them but after about an hour I get hungry and dad has to go get mum up to give me some food!!!…

I then usually stay awake for a little while and have a play on my mat in the lounge room.. this is when mum and dad play with me or I just watch some tele…

After play time it’s back to sleep for a while then another feed when I wake up and more play time.. etc etc….
At night dad gives me a bath and I love it… he tells me I smell so nice afterwards….
Dad took this shot of me after dinner the other night.. I reckon it’s a terrible shot but mum reckons it’s cute… I was asleep in her arms…

Last Saturday seen me take my first big outing.. Mum and dad took me to a wedding.. This is a pic of me in mums arms at the wedding..

Anyway just wanted to keep you all in the loop and let you know that mum and dad are looking after me very well.. gotta go now.. nap time!!!
